  Great, caring staff. Sadly we spent far too much time there with our chronically ill dog but our visits were made as nice as possible due to the staff. We know each Dr very well and feel our dogs (and us) have always been treated very well. They have gone above and beyond for us several times since 1997 - meeting us at the hospital after hours to attend to an emergency. Just the sheer fact that they have a Dr always on call gives us such peace of mind. They don't price gouge you either as their pricing is fair and reasonable. We highly recommend.

  I love this place and so do my cats! Each Dr. is passionate about their job and we have been seen by every one of them. The office staff is quick to fit me in when I ask. We are very very happy here with this group.

  My family has been using Chesapeake Veterinary for many years for the care of our dogs and cats. All of the vets at this practice are so helpful and understanding when it comes to answering our many questions in the care of our pets, especially the questions concerning our aging Yorkie who requires special food and daily medication. The girls who work the front desk are wonderful. Always so attentive and polite and quick to ask the vets any questions we may have forgotten about during our appointment time. We especially like the reminder cards that arrive in the mail to remind us about upcoming tests for which our pets may be due. This is so helpful to us because our cat requires blood tests every six months as she has a thyroid condition. With the hectic lives we all seem to lead, these reminder cards are so convenient. The fact that the office sends out thank you emails for keeping our pet's appointments, is also a very nice touch. Any time we have needed to contact one of the vets after hours, our calls have been answered very promptly. In our family's opinion, these vets are the best! We not only consider them our pets doctors, but we also consider them our friends.
